Woman's body found in ditch near East Houston cemetery

Police are investigating the death of woman whose body was found in a ditch near a cemetery in east Houston early this morning. The woman was discovered in the 600 block of Altic near Capitol about 7:30 a.m., according to the Houston Police Department. Police said the woman, whose name has not been released, was discovered in a ditch not far from Evergreen Cemetery.
