Hot, mostly sunny days and warm nights are on tap for the Houston region through the rest of the week and weekend. Temperatures will range between the mid 90s and mid 70s and a slight chance of rain may be possible in the afternoons as the mercury climbs and south winds flow inland from the Gulf of Mexico, according to the National Weather Service.
